Today is the day of the big design reveal ~ Summer Sampler 2018 : Summer Road Trip! Eighteen fabulous blocks from thirteen talented designers. Katie, Lee, and I have had so much fun over past summers quilting along with you all. I've loved the pace of one block per week and having something truly amazing to show for it at by the start of fall. I hope you love this year's planned quilt as much as we do.

This year's quilt along is travel inspired. Beginning May 14th, each week we will share a quilt block inspired by a different global destination. While I was working on my blocks, I pretty much decided this is how I want to design everything from now on! There is so much beauty and inspiration around us!

We've mocked up the Summer Sampler 2018 quilt along in three different colorways - warm, cool, and rainbow. You can buy a limited number of kits at for the quilt top at Sewtopia and Mad About Patchwork (coming soon).

The finished quilt measures 80" x 80". Block construction is a mix of techniques from traditional piecing to foundation paper piecing. The best feedback we've heard year after year is that the quilt along was a huge skill and confidence builder.

The complete cost for all the block patterns (1 per week starting May 14th) and the assembly instructions is on sale now through May 13th at $24.99. That's $5 off the normal price. I've had questions in the past about whether or not this is a monthly subscription fee. Nope! One purchase gets you set up for the entire summer with us. :)
