Today marks Week 9 of the Summer Sampler quilt along. This week's block is another skill builder with curves ~ we are all experts now, right? The Curves block is designed by fabric designer and screen printer extraordinaire, Karen Lewis.

I still need to work on my curves. This time I was able to breeze through the curved stitching (progress!), but had trouble sewing my components together to my liking. Practice makes perfect though, so I will keep trucking along with these techniques. You can see more layout ideas for full quilts using these curved units over on Karen's blog today.
