Summer Sampler 2016 ~ Week 1

We are so excited ~ today is the first day of the Summer Sampler 2016 pattern launch! For those of you that have signed up, thank you! We have an amazing, global community sewing together this summer and we couldn't be more thrilled with the response. For anyone who hasn't signed up, but wants to join in the fun, see the bottom of this post for details.

This week's block comes to us from AnneMarie Chany of Gen X Quilters. You won't want to miss the jaw dropping story behind the quilt block name, so pop on over to her blog!

I decided to use my "Cherry Blossoms" inspiration fabric pull for my quilt. My background will be low volume prints.

We've already seen blocks popping up on Instagram and in our private Facebook group this morning ~ you all are fast! I am loving all the different color schemes everyone has come up with.

Below you can find the Summer Sampler 2016 details, as well as custom shop fabric bundles for the quilt along. You can join at any time. If joining after Week 1, you will initially receive all the patterns up to the current date.
