So, the good news is, I'm done with the Modern Solids Challenge quilt! WooHoo! I finished up over the weekend and got some pictures earlier this week. I still don't have the voting/contest information. So I'm going to wait and post the quilt once I can get you all a link. In the meantime...there's a little peek on Instagram. :)

While we wait, I have some pretty new fabrics to show you. Last month, Fort Worth Fabric Studio asked me to put together a "Birthday Bundle" for my birthday month (which just happens to be October). I think playing with fabric just might make getting older more bearable. The fabrics in the bundle are pictured in the top photo of this post, and you can buy them at their shop. I happened to receive them the same day as some Cotton + Steel arrived as well. Don't they look great with this pink? Happy accident!

I also recently bought some of Elizabeth Olwen's new Wildwood collection for Cloud 9 Fabrics. I paired it with some prints from Bonnie Christine's Winged collection for Art Gallery Fabrics. Don't they look awesome together?

Today is my daughter's birthday. She is just such a sweet, special girl. I'm really so lucky to be her mom! I think I'm going to spend the day working on her Halloween costume. Maybe I'll even come close to finishing it!
