National Parks Birthday Club ~ Month 2
As the daylight gets shorter and the weather cools down, I continue to have fun working on the National Parks Birthday Club by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery. I had a bit of a "oh no!" moment this month when I discovered I miscounted my top border by one. Yep, amateur hour over here! So far it hasn't been a big deal though, I just moved a couple stitches around at the top of the Yellowstone and Hawaii scenes and I don't think it takes away from the overall design.
In my usual too-many-projects-going-at-once ways, I started two additional cross stitch patterns over the last month as well. Both are from Satsuma Street. I pretty much want to make everything in Jody's shop. She also has some holiday sneak peeks on Instagram that are getting me excited.
I am starting out with the Washington, DC pattern from her Pretty Little City series and the Halloween Cat (my first time cross stitching on linen - eek!) I think my goal on the cat pattern will be to finish by Halloween....2017!
