Munki Minis
Over the weekend I had a burst of creativity and everything I had been working on was pushed aside. *Months* ago I had made a couple Munki Munki blocks for fun. I had no idea what I was going to do with them, but I just really wanted to cut into that cute Heather Ross fabric. Then they sat in a little box....so sad and lonely. Then suddenly on Saturday, it hit me! Mini, modern, one-of-a-kind baby quilts!
I decided I needed to make a rainbow of them (minus purple - I really just don't have that much purple in my stash!) I am so very excited with how they turned out.
Each one uses a bit of my Heather Ross fabrics. Some I had from trades, some I purchased from Kerri over at Sew Deerly Loved. Kerri sells bits and pieces of the Munki Munki pajamas - pure genius!
Each mini quilt measure 18" x 21". The backs coordinate with a fabric used on the front in the block and the binding also matches the backings. I quilted them in modern, "random" (I marked them before quilting) straight lines. I just love how they turned out!
I am planning on listing these in my shop sometime today. I hope Etsy fans will love them as much as I do - I see a lot more in my future!
