Poinsettia Quilt Progress : Fresh Lemons Quilts

Several hours last week at the sewing machine reaped excellent results. All the paper pieced components are stitched and trimmed! I broke my chain piecing down into piles by template and color. It helped me out mentally as I was facing the nearly 1000 small pieces of fabric.

And after. Boy did my feet hurt after all that standing, but I'm happy I did it all at once and it's behind me.

This week I'll start on cutting the squares to piece the background and start on assembling the blocks. Oh yeah, and there's Thanksgiving as well. It will be a short week at the machine!
