Heading to Wisconsin
Today I'm spending the day getting ready to head to Wisconsin for the Menu of Modern event. I'm so excited, we are really going to have a good time. Hopefully many of you are also staying for Jacquie's class Sunday. I really can't wait!
I have a few little notes to share with you today. I've been busy working on a wall hanging quilt for my aunt. I've paired Carolyn Friedlander's Botanics line with Lee's Stardust pattern from Vintage Quilt Revival. I'm only doing 9 blocks for the wall hanging but I am seriously considering making a full sized one of these for myself.
I also wanted to mention that I am now offering one of my patterns in print (for the first time). If you've checked out my pattern shop, you've probably noticed my quilt patterns are digital PDF downloads. I really love that instant availability. But I know many people like printed patterns, so I wanted to branch out in that direction as well.
So far I only have one pattern printed - my Starfall pattern. But I do plan on printing up others as the year progresses, in order of their popularity. The patterns are full color booklets and ship (USA only right now) USPS First Class Mail.
If you are a shop owner and are interested in carrying this pattern in your store, please email me regarding wholesale orders.
And finally, I was excited to find out that Fat Quarter Shop has named Vintage Quilt Revival their Book of the Month. You can read more about it on their blog, but also it's great because it means the book is 20% off in their shop all month long!
Have a great weekend everyone! I'll be back next week with pictures from the weekend event!
