Flower Sugar Love
Yesterday and today I decided to catch up on a couple projects I had been promising to make for my little girl. I knew some of Lecien's Flower Sugar fabric would be a perfect match for her room. I bought mine from Kerri at Sew Deerly Loved.
First, I created some bunting for above her bed. The front is the Flower Sugar prints, the back is just solid pink. I kind of winged it, but I think they turned out cute. I used the 30 degree guides on my cutting mat to create the triangles. I made just quilt binding to sew them all together.
With the left over triangles (and a few extra) I decided to make a matching pillow. I winged this one too...it was my first time making a non square pillow. My first time binding a pillow. And my first time making a yoyo. But overall, I think it was a success!
My daughter certainly is a fan!
