Culcita
This week, I received some very happy mail indeed. This cute orange box is from Culcita, a new modern fabric and sewing project subscription service.
Culcita contacted me last month and asked if I'd like to see what they were all about - of course! - and they sent me this box. The first thing I noticed as I was opening the box was that they put thought into every little detail. How cute is this flap?
There are a lot of different subscription options, from fabric bundles (1/4 yard, 1/2 yard, and 1 yard) and project bundles (quilt kits, bag project kits, Skillz boxes to learn a new technique, and Learn to Sew kits). For the fabric bundles, you can also decide how often you want a box sent to you - monthly, bimonthly, or quarterly. Project boxes arrive quarterly.
My box had a fat quarter bundle of Elizabeth Olwen's gorgeous organic Underwater line for Cloud 9 fabrics. It also had 2 woven quilt labels, a coupon to be used when inviting friends to subscribe, and a fortune cookie.
Naturally, the first thing I did was eat the cookie. I loved fortune inside!
Everything about the package was high quality and professional. I would definitely recommend Culcita as a subscription for yourself or even as a gift for a friend or family member who loves to create.
Happy sewing everyone!
