Basting Glimma

I've made a bit more progress on my Glimma quilt! This one has been a lot of fun to make. I didn't really have a plan when I started on my flying geese. I loved the look of the Yarn Dyed Essex Linen in Black next to the fabric, but I decided to use Essex Linen in Flax for the main backdrop of the quilt. (I posted where you can buy the Essex Linen in here, as well as my flying geese paper piecing template.)

I improvisationally pieced the blocks from the top down. Literally - I started at the top left of the quilt and worked my way over and down like reading a book.
