A Great Mail Day

Have you seen this great new pattern by Anna Maria Horner? I first noticed the brown version of the dress back when she posted her photos from quilt market. I was hoping she'd come out with a pattern and she did! I am planning on making view A and C in the same fabrics as the pattern. I was lucky enough to find the fabrics on Fabric Worm and Banberry Place, but if you are interested, it is getting harder and harder to come by so hurry! And it is oooohhhhh so soft and has a wonderful drape to it. I'm a little nervous about sewing on it and am debating getting a rubber bottomed foot so the fabric doesn't slide around. Advice?

And how can you miss the beautiful blue bouquet from Flea Market Fancy sitting on top! My first and only blue fabric from this out of print line by Denyse Schmidt. I purchased it from a fundraiser by 2RedHens. She is raising money for cervical cancer, a great cause.
