Summer Sampler 2021 ~ Cross Churn

I try not to pick favorites when it comes to Summer Sampler quilt blocks, but I do especially love the Cross Churn block, designed by Megan Lopez of The Athena Workshop. Based on the classic Churn Dash quilt block, I think I could make an entire quilt of of this one.

This technique involves making some split quarter square triangle (SQST) units. In the past, these have been one of the more challenging units to trim. I made a video to walk you through the process of trimming these, as well as additional sizes, of SQSTs.
