Announcing Summer Sampler 2021 ~ Vintage Restyle

Summer is just around the corner, and that means one thing around here…the Summer Sampler Series 2021 quilt along! The Summer Sampler Series quilt alongs have become a bit of a tradition in this space. I can’t imagine a summer without my cohosts and wonderful friends, Lee and Katie! This year’s quilt along theme is Vintage Restyle. Each of the 13 new blocks is a restyled spin on a classic quilt block. I am so in love with this summer’s colors! Keep reading for all the sign up details and meet our design team.

For $34.99 total (a one-time charge), you'll receive:
• 13 fully-tested quilt block patterns, with tips and tricks for success
• A Welcome PDF with fabric requirements and suggested colors (see below for info about fabric bundles available from online fabric shops)
• Complete finishing instructions to make an 68" x 68" sampler quilt
• Coloring sheets for planning
• Access to a private Facebook group ask questions, get advice, and connect with the designers and a community of other quilters

Quilt-along runs: June 7-September 6, 2021. Subscribers will receive a new block pattern via email each Monday during the quilt-along, with finishing instructions sent on Sept. 6.

Block sizes: 12-1/2" x 12-1/2" (12" x 12" finished), plus one super-sized 28-1/2" x 28-1/2" block

Finished quilt size: Approximately 68" x 68"

Skill level: Confident Beginner. We assume you have basic quilting knowledge such as general fabric cutting and pressing knowledge, the ability to sew a consistent 1/4" seam, and familiarity with the terminology used in quilt patterns.

Fabric kits: Summer Sampler fabric kits will be offered at various shops. First up is Sewtopia! How pretty are the fabrics all together?!

So….I’m not going to sugarcoat things. The last 15 months have been rough for a lot of people (myself included). If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen me talk a bit about that. I’ve had several people tell me, the Summer Sampler quilt along got them through some hard/lonely times. Being (online) with others, being creative…it can be very healing. I hope this summer will be the same experience.
