Circle Gets the Square

Curves, curves, curves!  Are you all experts yet?  When we released our Summer Sampler 2019 teaser banner, we included some curved graphics in the design.  That was a bit of a clue that this quilt along would include more than a few chances to perfect your sewing curve skills. And this week’s block, Circle Gets the Square, by designer Krystina Hopkins of KHQuilts, gives you 16 opportunities to practice your drunkard’s path blocks!

Krystina’s skill of the week involved using color and fabric placement to change the design of a block.  I love how these white quarter units create a look of a square within this block!

It’s not too late to join in the fun with us this summer. (It’s actually never too late!) . When you sign up, you will immediately receive all the block patterns to date. For the late comers, I’d recommend starting with the current week’s block and then making the past blocks in your spare time.
