Summer Sampler 2019 ~ Sign up and Coupon!
Today is the day! The launch of the 5th (!!!) Summer Sampler Quilt Along! Each year that Lee, Katie and I have hosted this quilt along, the best comments we’ve received have been related to how your skills and confidence have grown throughout the summer. This year we decided to go all in with skill building, and ask several experts to design blocks that showcase various piecing and design techniques. By the end of the summer, you will have the confidence to tackle almost any quilt project.
Beginning May 20th, each Monday for 21 weeks you will receive a pattern via email for a specific technique based quilt block. At the end of the quilt along, you will receive instructions for two different finishing options - a curves option and a diamond option.
When you sign up, you will also have access to a private Facebook quilt along group where you can connect with other quilters and share your photos and questions along the way.

This year’s mockup color scheme is based on some of the wonderful Bella Solids by Moda. These are some of my absolute favorite solids to work with! (Standard “colors appear different on different computer monitors” disclaimer. :-) )
When you join the quilt along, you will receive a Welcome Packet PDF file with all sorts of handy information, including the colors in the mockup and suggested fabric amounts. Keep in mind, these are only estimates and the way you cut and use your fabric as you quilt along may require more or less fabric. You are also encouraged to use the coloring sheet in your Welcome Packet to come up with your own design!
